Lil Wayne (nacido como Dwayne Michael Carter el 27 de septiembre de 1982 en New Orleans, Louisiana) aka Weezy F. Baby o Birdman Jr., es un rapero afroamericano y presidente de los sellos Cash Money Records y Young Money Entertainment que recientemente se ha posicionado en el escalón más alto del rap gracias a sus dos últimos discos. Él reclama ser “el mejor rapero en vida desde que el mejor murió(Tupac)” (en referencia a Jay-Z).
